Why do I Invest in the UK?

A question that is often asked. For me, there are many reasons to invest in the UK and not in the Netherlands where I live, for instance. See what my reasons are, in this video.

A lot of people are trying to find possibilities to get more revenue on their money. Maybe you are one of them.


Specially now the interest on your bank account is still low, it is wise to find out which way of investing and getting more out of your money suits you.


Since 2013 I have been interested in investing in property. Actually that started earlier, when I visited a holiday park in Luxembourg and I saw that leaflet about buying a chalet to rent out. Once talking to the sales person of those houses, it did not feel good at all. I simply did not trust them to work with that company.


Later that year I have met investors who wanted to find out if the German market could be something. Together we visited banks, properties and other people to potentially work with. Although this felt better than my experience in Luxembourg, in Germany I found the amounts too high and the profit too low.


In 2013 I joined a training about investing in property in the UK and there it was. 3 days in a row hearning a lot of useful information, I loved it. After that I took a mentor in the UK, worked on my strategy and bought my first property. I still remember the feeling, sitting in the plane back to the Netherlands. So exciting! 🙂


Now, a couple of years later, I do have several houses which are cashflowing well. I am working with a group of investors who like to work with me and have extended their loan agreeements all the time.
